The specialization in Quantum Computing is focussed on the novel exploding field of Quantum Computing. 


Courses of the specialization

Compulsory courses:

  • Introduction to Quantum Mechanics and Quantum Computing [1] (6 CFU, I Semester, II Year)
  • Information theory [2]  (6 CFU, I Semester, II Year)
  • Introduction to Quantum Information Theory [3] (6 CFU, II Semester, II Year)

At least 6 CFU at your choice from the following courses:

  • Bayesian Statistics [4] (6 CFU, II semester, II year)
  • Software Development Methods [5] (6 CFU, I Semester, II Year)
  • Deep Learning [6] (6 CFU, I Semester, II Year)
  • Advanced Topics in Machine Learning [7] (6 CFU, II Semester, II Year, Available from AY 2022/23)
  • Unsupervised Learning [8] (6 CFU, II Semester, II Year, Available from AY 2022/23)
  • Advanced Quantum Computing [9] (6 CFU, II Semester, II Year, Available from AY 2022/23)
