The specialization in Computational Fluid Dynamics focusses on fluid dynamics and its applications in engineering and earth sciences.  


Courses of the specialization

Compulsory courses:

  • Fluid Dynamics [1] (6 CFU, I Semester, II year)
  • Physics and Modelling of Turbulent Flows [2] (6 CFU, II Semester, II year)

At least 12 CFU at your choice from the following courses:

  • Parallel Programming for HPC [3] (6 CFU, II Semester, II Year)
  • Software Development Methods [4]  (6 CFU, I Semester, II Year)
  • Probabilistic Machine Learning [5] (6 CFU, II Semester, II Year)
  • Deep Learning [6] (6 CFU, I Semester, II Year)
  • Geophysics Analytics [7] (6 CFU, II Semester, II Year)
  • Global and Multi-Objective Optimization [8] (6 CFU, I Semester, II Year, Available from AY 2022/23)
